Ferns are some ancient and unique species in the plant world, and these earrings capture a few special qualities of the New Zealand tree fern. In real life, the fronds can be 13 feet long, so here we shrunk them to about an inch and a half long. Designed with three fiddleheads (called koru by the Maori natives of New Zealand), we achieved a great amount of detail in a tiny space. These earrings are lightweight and easy to wear.
