Also known as the champion oak, this tree reaches a height of 90 feet (27 meters). The amount of acorns it produces varies from year to year, depending on how the tree judges its health and environment, but when it does drop acorns a single tree can produce over a million in a single season. Survival rate for acorns is very low, up to 95% get eaten by animals like bears, deer, elk, moose, squirrels, turkey, raccoons, rabbits, birds, and more.
